I'm not going to be in when my parcel arrives. What will happen?
Most orders are small enough to fit through a letter box. If it is too big, or it needs to be signed for, the postman will leave you a card informing you that delivery has been attempted.
On this card will be instructions on how to obtain your parcel.
Do you gift wrap?
All of my jewellery is sent in resealable plastic bags to keep it safe, and then wrapped in tissue paper.
Larger items, such as the homeware, are usually boxed. Please see individual product descriptions for more information.
All jewellery can be sent gift boxed in a black cardboard box that is perfect if you would like to give the piece as a present. This option is available at £2.00 per item, just selection the 'Gift Wrap' option when you add the item to your cart.
You can also purchase gift cards and wrapping paper in the homewares section.
I do not include paper receipts with my orders to save on paper, so you can send a gift straight to the recipient. If you would like an item sent to a different address, please contact me by emailing emma@jijikiki.com

I would like to return an item
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please contact me within 7 days. Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase. Please click here to contact me to receive information on how to return your purchase(s).
I will issue a full refund on receipt, or exchange the item for a different colour if preferred.
If you require a different product (rather than a different size or colour of the same product) you will need to place a new order online and return the original item for a refund.
Some products (such as earrings) are non-returnable; these are clearly marked with a '+' next to the product name.
If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.
Once you have contacted me, you have a legal "duty of care" to take good care of the goods. You must return the goods at your expense - I highly recommend that returns are sent using a trackable posting method such as Recorded Delivery to ensure that it arrives to me safely.
Faulty item
If the item you received is faulty, I am really sorry. Please click here to contact me.
Do I have to pay for return postage?
If you are returning an item, or items, to me then the cost of returning the item to me is your responsibility, unless the item is faulty or not what you ordered.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches me. I recommend that you send the item/s using Recorded Delivery.
Looking after your jewellery.
To keep your jewellery looking at it's best here are a few simple guidelines:
- Always remove your jewellery when you're in the bath/shower/swimming.
- Perfumes, hairspray and scented lotions all contain chemicals that can damage your jewellery. If you want to wear perfume let it dry fully before putting your jewellery on.
- If silver plated items become tarnished you can restore the shine with a silver jewellery cloth. If you want to add some shine to brass items, simply use a bit of Brasso.
- All of my pieces are sent in resealable plastic bags which I recommend they are kept in to stop the chains getting tangled and the pendant or charms getting scratched.
- Don't be too rough with your jewellery-it's not indestructible!
- if you need to clean your jewellery then wipe over with a damp cloth. I don't advise you submerse it in water as this may damage it.
If you purchase a piece of vintage jewellery please remember that back then, the same as today, costume jewellery was intended to be disposable. These pieces will more delicate and will probably show signs of age.
How green is Ji Ji Kiki?
Ji Ji Kiki loves nature. We sell a lot of fruit/vegetable/animal related products (does that count?) and currently residing at Chez Ji Ji Kiki are two guinea pigs, Penny and Pip, and two gerbils, Marty and Jeff.
I try to be as eco-friendly as possbile. All packaging (cardboard, plastic, plastic bags) is reused or recycled and any confidential documents are shredded and then given to the gerbs so they can make a lovely cosy bed.
Any jewellery making supplies I buy through the post usually arrive in padded envelopes and if these are in good condition I will reuse them rather than consigning them to landfill.
The Post Office where your orders start their journey is a 10 minute walk, so I go by Shank's pony rather than use my car.
Our computers, printers etc are all turned off when not in use and we collect all of our used printer cartridges to be sent to a recycling centre where they can be refilled.
We have been awarded a Green Achiever award for our green credentials.
